SLIPPING SEAT PROBLEM

SLIPPING SEAT PROBLEM

UNREAD_POSTby woodworker414 on Fri Feb 03, 2012 5:09 pm

Hi ya all, I just got an email from a friend who is playing snowbird in FL, this winter. He has friend that has a Rover with the same problem, the slipping seat. Well the friend said that the problem was cured with a retro kit that TerraTrike makes. Does anyone know what that kit is called and which area I can view it in?
Thanks
Bill

I do not know it's proper name, but an email to Kelli (or a phone call) can get you the info. I too have this new kit, and like it very much. it comprises of plastic-type inserts/covers for where the tape was at. Basically, you take the tape off and snap theses pieces into place. I have bout 75 miles on since adding this kit, and I no longer have any issue.

No fancy names here..."Molded Rover seat clamp shims." You can get a set for $4.95 plus $2.95 S & H. Or you can just order them by saying "The new Rover seat clamp shims." They'll know what you're talking about.
