Job Summary:
Be "Part of the Solution" with TerraTrike, the world leader in recumbent trikes. TerraTrike is a team environment where everyone is a part of helping this ship sail. This full-time position is responsible for maintaining and growing dealer relationships within an assigned territory. Initial pay is dependent upon experience and what the right individual brings to the team. With approximately 60% market share in an accelerating market there is plenty of opportunity for growth.

Performance Objectives:
  • Maintain relationship with current dealer network through follow up and communication of relevant information.
  • Work with current dealers to create the best customer service and grow sales with in their area.
  • Understand dealers selling cycles within assigned territory, use this data to assist in the formulation, development and implementation of individual dealer growth plans.
  • Assist in developing sales programs for dealer network.
  • Partner with accounts to resolve issues and minimize concerns.
  • Understand our dealers retail perspective and constraints in order to aid in developing solutions that are a win-win
  • Plan and attend effective dealer trips and events.
  • Working with the Dealer Sales Manager research potential markets and dealers within assigned territory.
  • Prospect and court new dealers based on potential growth and fulfilling market demands.
  • Prove viability of potential dealers through exhaustive research to determine effectiveness and fit with our brand.
  • Thoroughly understand product details to better educate, sell to and find solutions for our customers.
  • Learn competitors’ products to understand how our brand fits into the marketplace.
  • Seek out more efficient and effective ways to help push the company forward.
  • Understand and help with functions of other departments to proactively improve personal area of responsibility as well as that of others.
  • Participate in and contribute to team meetings.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales and customer service is desired.
  • Experience in an outdoor/active industry is a plus.
