Wheel disc for a Cruiser

I made a set of wheel disc for my cruiser they were not to hard to make
about $8.00 for the two front wheels
I am still working on the disc on the inside

  • Very interesting. Can you post any details on the construction of the disks? I'm also interested in your front gears - it looks like you might have a smaller small ring on there. How many teeth? And, if you have any comparison between the big rear wheel and the normal wheel - how much does it lower the bottom bracket ( pedal crank shaft)

  • The wheel disc are made of 1/16” ABS plastic they are held on by cable ties
    The outside disc has a 3" hole for the axle and the inside has a 2"
    I cut the disc 16 " 3/8 and laid out the holes for the ties by putting it on the rim and marking where the spokes are with a maker
    I do have a smaller ring gear 26
    I am also using a ring guard http://www.utahtrikes.com/PRODINFO-tricechaingurd.html
    I do like the larger back wheel it drop the crank about 1"
