I see my nearly 4-year old Path is now a Tour. I can tell all of it's admirers that it is no longer at the bottom of the totem pole.
After the chain popped off the rear sprocket when I hit some rough ice this winter I finally got around to removing two chain links. What a mess! My chain-breaker tool is about 50 years old and the instructions never seemed correct. Anyway, the chain is back together and the tension arm is doing some tensioning.
If anyone tries this, be sure to put wire or cord through the chain four or five links on either side of the links you plan to remove and tighten it so you are working with on a slack piece of chain...not one under tension.
