Bought a Sigma at LBS today. Issue I am having is the sensor is mounted vertically, and the magnet passed sensor in a
    horizontal position. Sketches on instruc-
tions show Sigma being used on a front fork of an upright bike. Any ideas? Magnet is not being picked up as it is now
I know it has to be within 1/4".

How long have u had the Sigma and have u had any issues with it? I am looking at a similar looking Sigma, maybe an updated version. When did they make the 1009? Thanks

It's basic. Battery usually lasts 2 years. It's a twist mount. Twist mount, if brushed up against can dislodge. Stays in well otherwise. And it is small, though easy for me to read on the go.

Would like to get a cyclemeter with a built-in thermometer. If resources was open I'd also get one with a barometer as well, to warn of pending weather changes.

Small form factors are easier to mount and don't get bumped up against. My 2¢.

I'd get a newer version though. BC 1009 was on sale at Bike Nashbar. I've had it for 6+ years. It's nothing special.
  • Rover does ride good on trails. Went on a 28 mile trip down the Weiser River Trail on 6/3/2017. I plan on going back too!

  • Finished 28 miles on the Weiser River Trail on the Rover. Only issue I encountered was the thigh-poking seat tube on right leg. Even went semi-AT too in spots. Was fun!

Picture has 3 subjects involved; Urban riding, Forest trails, and an Oriole. Birds, like other wonders of nature are found by looking up, must what happens when riding a trike ... you get to LOOK UP!

SoundWinds flag on a vertical pole, two TerraTrike flags on posts coming out of seat with an adjustable lightbar for looks & safety. Could add more flags to the angled poles at some point.

Around here the vertical pole is more of a necessity to be seen, and it has a tassel ribbon up top to grab attention.

      Enjoy!
