Yes. It seems that a few of the EVOs were missing some washers on the axles that would cause the motor torque sensor to engage thinking you were pedaling. Easy fix. Return to the dealer for the free and quick update.

Are you attaching it correctly? It mounts via velcro on the top and side and shouldn't move at all.
