TerraTrike Sets Sales Record Despite Sluggish Economy

Despite the current financial crisis, sluggish economy, high gas prices and political uncertainty, TerraTrike has recorded yet another sales record for the month of October. For ten straight months the local Kentwood Michigan manufacturer of the world’s most popular recumbent trikes has experienced record sales and phenomenal growth.

“I think people are choosing to invest in their own health” says Marketing Manager Jeff Yonker. “Health conscious people are looking at these as not only a way to ditch the gym membership, but also as a more economical and ecologically friendly way of commuting.”

The TerraTrike has recently been featured on CNN’s iReport as well as Nickleodeon’s game show My Family’s Got Guts. “We continue to promote awareness of the brand and it’s showing in our sales” says Yonker. “Our dealers are seeing significant traffic and sales because of it also.”
